Professor Osório holds a postdoctorate in political and economic law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University/SP (2016), and PhD and master’s degrees in international political economics from UFRJ, as well as an undergraduate degree in law from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora.

He is currently Vice-Director of the Institute of Human and Social Sciences (ICHS/UFRRJ), and author of the book Imperialismo, Estado, e Relações Internacionais [Imperialism, the State, and International Relations] (Ideas & Letras).

He is a researcher with the CLACSO Critical Legal Thinking working group and the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Studies on International Relations (LIERI/UFRRJ).

He has served as chair and acquired research experience in the areas of international relations, political science, international economic policy, international organizations, regional integration, international law, human rights, and legal theory.
