Professor Andriolli holds a PhD in social sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and postdoctoral research at the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology at the National Museum/UFRJ. She holds a master’s degree in social sciences from the Federal University of Sao Carlos (UFSCAR), and is a researcher at the Center for the Anthropology of Politics (NUAP/PPGAS/UFRJ) and the Laboratory of Anthropology, Territories, and Environments (LATA), linked to the Rural Studies Center (CERES/UNICAMP).
Her experience in the areas of anthropology and rural sociology focus on the following topics: traditional peoples and communities, territory and socio-environmental conflicts, ownership regimes and systems of governing natural resources, intercultural production of knowledge, and relationships between humans and non-humans.
On 2019 she was on maternity leave, and is now also mother to Ernesto.
