CPDA’s operating structure receives support from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro and the Graduate Support Program (PROAP/CAPES). Financial support has also been received through FAPERJ research incentive programs to support graduate programs.

Faculty research, when funded, has also contributed resources toward maintaining and acquiring consumable materials.
